Silvano Calvetto, Ricomporre i frammenti. L’ultimo Bettelheim e la critica allo specialismo
La condanna dei rischi connessi all’istituzionalizzazione del metodo psicoanalitico e la critica dei modelli pedagogici egemonici del nostro tempo costituiscono due degli elementi più rappresentativi del pensiero di Bruno Bettelheim. Tra gli anni settanta e gli anni ottanta egli ha significativamente contribuito, attraverso l’intreccio di questi due aspetti e il rimando ad alcuni punti chiave della sua proposta culturale, a far emergere le contraddizioni e i limiti del cosiddetto paradigma razionalistico, che finisce per eliminare la dimensione emotivo-affettiva dell’individuo, abbandonando quindi uno degli aspetti decisivi intorno ai quali il processo di costruzione dell’identità soggettiva prende forma.

The declaration of the risks connected to the institutionalization of the psychoanalytic method and the criticism of the educational hegemonic models of our times are two aspects which highly characterize the thought of Bruno Bettelheim. Intertwining these two aspects and recalling some of the key issues of his cultural proposal, between the seventies and the eighties he offered a significant contribution to the highlighting of the contradictions and limits of the so-called rationalist paradigm, which ends up with eliminating the emotional-affective dimension of the individual, hence giving up to 180undertake one of the decisive aspects around which the process of construction of the subjective identity takes shape.
