Marie Ayasse

Marie Ayasse has studied anthropology at Université Lumière Lyon 2. She deals with urban anthropology: how do we create urban? First, she got interested in urban agriculture, which led her to travel to Quebec and Mexico. For the past few years she has focused on brownfields and their becoming, mainly their transformation through art and related activities. Her goal is to develop her research using the classical tools of the trade but she is also very interested in using video and the documentary to further her foray into this field.
