Luciano Gallino, Power and Social Change
In this interview one of the major sociologists in Italy looks at the relationship between power and social change through the parameters of work, education and technology. The strong bond between these three components of everyday life and the relationship they have with global change show an economic and social pattern worryingly ruled by a meagre number of people. Up to a serious damage on quality of life, existential planning and social progress, with heavy responsibility both on politicians and on intellectuals.
