Cesare Pianciola, Pietro Chiodi: i molti modi in cui fu maestro

 

Pensatore poliedrico e rigoroso, Pietro Chiodi è stato un intellettuale, filosofo e docente attento a tenere insieme la dimensione morale e politica. Professore di liceo e poi universitario, allievo di Nicola Abbagnano, traduttore di Heidegger e Kant, oltre che autore di opere di grande rilievo speculativo, Chiodi prese parte attiva alla Resistenza, lasciandoci una mirabile testimonianza della sua esperienza, Banditi. Prendendo le mosse proprio dall’intreccio tra la dimensione biografica e quella speculativa, l’Autore rinviene gli elementi formativi che fanno di Chiodi un educatore sempre alle prese con la tensione etica della responsabilità del pensiero.

Cesare Pianciola, Pietro Chiodi: the many ways he was master

 

Meticolous and versatile thinker, Pietro Chiodi was an intellectual, philosopher and teacher who was careful to keep together the moral and political dimensions. High school teacher and then university professor, student of Nicola Abbagnano, translator of Heidegger and Kant, and then author of very remarkable speculative works, Chiodi took active part in the Resistance, leaving an admirable account of his own experience: Banditi. Starting from the tangle between the biographic and the speculative dimensions, the author discovers the educational aspects that make Chiodi an educator who was always caught up in the ethical commitment of the responsibility of thought.
