Ada Lonni, Education in times of conflict. The Palestinian issue

Starting from the dramatic affair concerning Juliano Mer-Khamis, actor and stage director of world renown who has long devoted himself to the construction of peace in the Middle East, the author proposes a historical-political reflection upon the indispensable role of education and school within the reconstruction of the conflicts that have marked the difficult coexistence between Israeli people and Palestinian people for many years. Being aware that over time the growing reduction of educational spaces has represented a significant element for the flare-up of the conflict.
