Elvira Bonfanti

graduated in Moral Philosophy at the University of Genoa under the supervision of Italo Bertoni and obtained a PhD in Aesthetics at the Université de Nice-Sophie Antipolis under the supervision of Daniel Charles. Professional journalist and dance critic, she taught History of Dance and Mime at the University of Genoa (Faculty of Arts, Music and Entertainment, at Imperia). She currently teaches History of Drama at the Accademia Linguistica di Belle Arti in Genoa. From 2005 to 2011 she was in charge of External Relations and Press Office of the Carlo Felice Theater Foundation in Genoa, and she currently manages the Press Office of the Palazzo Ducale Foundation for Culture in Genoa. She wrote several essays on futurist dance, on Artaud, Blanchot, and on the Russian romantic ballet. She edited the Italian translation of Salvador Dalì’s Les cocus du vieil art moderne.
